Broken lift chain.  

Possible Cause #1 Lift chain worn out.
Action - Replace complete lift chain (DO NOT splice in new chain).
(Diagnosis time - 15-minutes/ Repair time 1 hr.)
Part Numbers - Call factory with model number & serial number for correct replacement part.
Possible Cause #2 Overloading of liftgate.
Action - Replace complete lift chain (DO NOT splice in new chain).

Base Warranty:

3 Years on mechanical structure.

2 Years on hydraulic & electrical components.
