Platform lowers in a jerky fashion.  

Possible Cause #1 Excessive dirt or grease on Aluminum Runner.
Action -

Pressure wash Aluminum Runner and columns to clean.

 

(Diagnosis time- 0 - / Repair time - 20 minutes).

Part Numbers - N/A
Possible Cause #2 Air in hydraulic lines.
Action - Fill reservoir to within 1/2' of full with platform on ground with Pennzoil Arctic hydraulic fluid.
Part Numbers - N/A
Possible Cause #3 Worn sprockets & or lift chain.
Action -

Inspect all sprockets and lift chain on railgate, replace if needed.

 

(Diagnosis time - 15-minutes/ Repair time - 15 minutes per sprocket).

Part Numbers - AR-18-38 (Sprocket - 13 tooth)
AR-18-40 (Sprocket - 25 tooth)
AR-18-39 (Sprocket - 19 tooth)

Base Warranty:

3 Years on mechanical structure.

2 Years on hydraulic & electrical components.

Warranties are void if genuine Anthony parts are not used.
