Anthony Liftgates don't break often, but even the most rugged parts don't last forever. Damage or normal wear and tear can interfere with normal liftgate operation. We've prepared this section to help guide you step-by-step through the most common troubleshooting procedures for liftgate repair. Platform will not raise, motor does NOT run.  

Possible Cause #1 Tripped circuit breaker near battery (power source), or blown fuse on control.
Action - Reset circuit breaker, or fuse.
(Diagnosis time - 0 / Repair time - 0 ).
Part Numbers - A-150495 (Circuit breaker)
Possible Cause #2 Cab cut off switch turned off.
Action - Turn switch on.
(Diagnosis time - 0 / Repair time - 0 ).
Part Numbers - N/A
Possible Cause #3 Corroded or loose wire connections.
Action - Check all wire connections on power unit for corrosion or looseness. Replace defective terminals with 'heat shrink' factory type terminals. Check main power cable from batteries, to circuit breakers, to cut off switch to power unit.
(Diagnosis time - 1/2 hr. / Repair time - 15 minutes).
Part Numbers - ATU-120 (Start solenoid)
Possible Cause #4 Defective motor start solenoid on liftgate motor.
Action - Replace bad solenoid.
(Diagnosis time - 15 minutes / Repair time 1/2 hr.).

3 Years on mechanical structure.

2 Years on hydraulic & electrical components.

Warranties are void if genuine Anthony parts are not used.
