Platform lowers extremely slowly.  

Possible Cause #1 Lowering valve not opening fully or is clogged with contaminates.
Action -

With platform on ground, remove valve. Inspect and clean valve with parts solvent, then blow out with air. Replace if needed.

 

(Diagnosis time - 1/2 hr. /Repair time - 15 minutes).

Part Numbers - A-176305 Lowering valve
Possible Cause #2 Restricted or pinched hydraulic hose.
Action -

Check all hydraulic hoses for loose connections or pinching. Replace hose if damaged.

 

(Diagnosis time - 15 minutes / Repair time - 15 minutes).

Part Numbers - ATU-409 Hydraulic hose
Possible Cause #3 Defective pressure compensated flow control valve.
Action -

Try lowering platform without valve in place. Clean or replace if found to be contaminated.

 

(Diagnosis time- 1/2 hr. / Repair time - 1/2 hour).

Part Numbers -

AR-18-72 - Flow control valve (3500, 4500 cap.)

A-147031 - Flow control valve (5500, 6500 cap.)

Base Warranty:

3 Years on mechanical structure.

2 Years on hydraulic & electrical components.

Warranties are void if genuine Anthony parts are not used.
