Platform will not lower.  

Possible Cause #1 Bad ground or other bad connection.
Action -

Check all connections and all connectors for worn, loose, or corroded connections. Replace any defective terminals with 'heat shrink' factory terminal.

 

(Diagnosis time - 1/2 hr. / Repair time - 15 minutes).

Part Numbers - N/A
Possible Cause #2 Bad lowering valve coil.
Action - Remove coil from lowering cartridge and test magnetism of inside of coil with metal object ( i.e. screwdriver ) while energizing 'down' control side of switch only.

(Diagnosis time - 15 minutes / Repair time - 1/2 hr.).
Part Numbers - A-176306 - Lowering valve coil
Possible Cause #3 Lowering valve stuck closed.
Action -

With platform on ground, remove lowering valve and inspect. Clean if dirty. Replace if plunger not freely moveable.

 

(Diagnosis time - 1/2 hr. / Repair time - 1/2 hr.).

3 Years on mechanical structure.

2 Years on hydraulic & electrical components.

Warranties are void if genuine Anthony parts are not used.
